After retiring from a career as a family therapist, Carole Bumpus became a freelance food/travel writer whose work concentrates on compiling vignettes from both French and Italian families regarding their favorite foods and family traditions. Her first book, A Cup of Redemption is a historic novel based on a woman’s story of living through World War II which brings together love, war, loss and the power of food.

Carole’s most recent book is Searching for Family and Traditions at the French Table is a cooking memoir that brings together the stories of French families, regions, and cultural traditions.

Carole’s work has been published by She Writes Press a publisher working exclusively with women authors. Follow Carole’s work and find out about upcoming events by visiting her website.
